Draft 1:
Above is a very basic, incomplete version of my contents page. It is my first draft and although I hadn't done much on the page, you can see my house style is starting to come through as well as the iconic colour scheme.
Above is my second draft of my contents page. I have created my editorial in the top right hand corner and I have created the white columns for the text to go into. At first I wanted the images to be down the centre of the page but I realised that this wasn't sticking to the grid theme which most contents pages should stick to. I included the mast head in the corner (left) to see what it looked like.
Draft 3:
Above is the third draft of my contents page. I changed my mind to where I wanted the images and decided to have them at the bottom in a sort of square formation to cluster them all together. I like the way I have used black borders around the outside to make the images stand out. I kept to the same white columns for the text.
Draft 4:
Above is the fourth draft of my contents page. I chose to include a brown box behind the images in the grid to keep them all together more and also to include another colour onto the page. The brown colour fits well with the colour scheme on this page and adds to the overall house style and effect. I have kept the editorial the same throughout each draft as I am pleased with it.
Final Draft:
Above is my final and finished draft of my contents page. I included a small image of the front cover on the 'on the cover' section so people can refer back to this and so the theme is iconic. I decided to bring back the masthead symbol on the contents page as it kept my page iconic like previously said but so the theme was consistent on each page. I am really pleased with the overall colour scheme, images and style.
